Beyond Boundaries: The Poetry and Journey of Richard Buss
Richard Buss explores broad concepts and perspectives related to the shifting nature of life. He has experience as a poet, teacher, and student of movement practices, presenting observations about contemporary life.
As an English teacher, Richard aimed to engage students with literature and storytelling. Although he is no longer teaching, his interest in literature continues to influence his current work.
Richard's poetry references themes such as love, loss, and isolation, often adopting a reflective tone. A lover of Murakami, Vonnegut and Adichie Richard's poetry draws upon themes of love, bereavement and isolation with a tone of reflection: all while in the pursuit of unity.
His presentations or readings frequently include stories from his experiences in education, social work, semi-professional rugby, and studying yoga.
An evening with Richard features engaging stories from his experience in education, social work, rugby, and yoga studies.
Richard resides in Bedfordshire with his family and is currently employed as a lorry driver.
